Football Game Coverage

Mountaineer Sports Network's coverage of WVU football games begins with three and a half hours of coverage prior to kickoff and continues with comprehensive post-game coverage and analysis. Veteran award-winning broadcaster, Tony Caridi, the Mountaineer’s primary play-by-play radio broadcaster since 1997 and one of the most recognizable and celebrated sports voice in the state of West Virginia for the past 30 years, headlines the coverage. Providing color analysis is Dwight Wallace, former WVU offensive coordinator and head coach at Ball State. Jed Drenning, a record-holding quarterback at Glenville State serves as the sideline reporter. Drenning joins Andrew Caridi and John Antonik on the pre-game and post-game shows.

The broadcast features exclusive one-on-one player, coach and administrator interviews with live guests and unmatched analysis from broadcasters closest to the team. Highly produced human interest and historical features from correspondents make up the broadcast along with fan interaction provide Mountaineer fans an unmatched radio experience on game day.

Men's Basketball Game Coverage

Mountaineer Sports Network's coverage of West Virginia men’s basketball games begins one hour prior to tipoff. Tony Caridi, the Mountaineer’s primary radio play-by-play broadcaster has held the post since 1997, though the state’s most recognizable sports voice has been a staple in Morgantown since 1984. Caridi has won numerous awards for sportscasting and is widely regarded as one of the best in the business among executives and peers. Jay Jacobs, a Morgantown native and former Mountaineer player, has worked on WVU basketball broadcasts, both television and radio for three decades. He is the all-time leading scorer for Morgantown High.

The broadcast features one-on-one, exclusive interviews with coach Josh Eilert, player and assistant coach features and in-depth scouting reports of the Mountaineer’s opposition making MSN the place to be on game day for all WVU fans.
